First met Jim in mid 1990s for site visits in Raleigh market. It was early days of development of Prestonwood CC in Cary. Jim showed us a great site and agreed on all facets. After sending Jim the LOI, he called and told he had sold the site. But forever Mr Positive, he said I have a better apartment site. Jimbo was right. We closed on a 25 acre farm at Edwards Mill and Duraleigh, and developed Princeton Mill Apt Homes. The first of four developments in Raleigh area. All from a warm friendship with Jimbo from a quarter century ago. Jimbo, RIP, you will be missed. Elliott Lewis
